CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP. Are you caring for an
elderly or disabled loved one? Are you managing a job, raising
a family and handling care-giving responsibilities? By talking
to others who share similar experiences, those who care
for their loved ones with physical and mental challenges can
receive helpful tips and information in a relaxed setting. The
meetings of the Caregivers Support Group will be held on
the 4th Thursday of each month, in the Ministries Room (behind
the Sanctuary).

Sponsors the Region’s Senior Companion Program.
This free program provides area senior citizens
with the opportunity to build relationships with other seniors
for such things as help with light meals, companionship,
light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and some light
travel needs. These are available to you FREE of CHARGE
through The Senior Companion Program. This is made
possible by grants funded by the Corporation for National
Community Services and the Ohio Department of Aging.
Call The Senior Companion Program of Catholic Social
Services of SW Ohio at (513) 241-7745 for more information.

Want to Help Someone Along the Road to Recovery?
Drive a Cancer Patient to Treatment. The American Cancer
Society has recognized that lack of transportation leaves cancer
patients with fee options for completing their treatment schedules.
Many patients need daily or weekly treatments over a
period of months and simply have no way to get there. Road to
Recovery is a service offered by the American Cancer Society
in which volunteer drivers provide cancer patients transportation
to and from their scheduled medical appointments. Drivers donate
their time and the use of their personal vehicles to help
ensure that cancer patients get the lifesaving treatments they
need. Make your car an instant classic. Call Anne Henry at 1-
888-227-6446 x 4104 to find out more about this great opportunity.
