St. Michael Parish's Community Outreach Commission empowers St. Michael Parishioners to serve dignity, safety, and aid to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Friday, March 10 | Princeton Closet | 9:00-11:00 a.m.
The Princeton Closet helps school-age children have the proper necessities to be successful in the classroom. Now offering a food pantry, baby shop, backpacks, school supplies, and of course clothes, shoes, coats, and other needed items, your generous donations help hundreds of students and families in the Princeton City School District each year.
Volunteer Need: Volunteers are needed to help sort donated clothing on Friday, March 10th from 9-11 a.m. at Princeton Closet (Sharonville, OH 45241). Space is limited; please sign up using the button below.
Saturday, March 11 | St. Michael School Cafeteria | 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Parishioners, family, and friends are invited to join the Community Outreach Commission in the St. Michael School Cafeteria for a morning of service and fellowship. There are many unique opportunities available. Please review those opportunities below and come, serve the organization that speaks to your heart.
Fernside Center for Grieving Children: Fernside's is the nation's second oldest children's grief center. Fernside's mission is to offer support and advocacy to grieving families who have experienced death, and to increase awareness of childhood grief. Fernside programs are provided at no cost to the children served. Warm Welcomes: Warm Welcome's mission is to encourage, empower, and enrich the lives of youth in foster care. An estimated 400,000 children are in the foster care system. Warm Welcomes offers necessity items, as well as enrichment opportunities to support the children they serve. Volunteer Need: St. Michael Parish will be making fleece no-sew tie blankets for both of these organizations at St. Michael Serves. The blankets will be given to children in need of comfort during a difficult time.
St. Vincent de Paul: For more than 150 years, St. Vincent de Paul has been helping our neighbors throughout Greater Cincinnati by providing innovative, practical emergency assistance to those in need regardless of creed, to bridge the spiritual, emotional and material gabs in their lives. Volunteer Need: St. Michael Parish will be assembling care bags and kid bags for the St. Michael Chapter of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Michael Serves to hand out to clients in need. The care bags will include personal care items and a prayer card, while the kid bags will provide entertainment for children whose parents visit St. Vincent de Paul offices to receive services. Personal care item donations are needed for completion of this project. Look for bins in the Church Gathering Space for collection of:

Sharonville Police & Fire Departments: The Sharonville Police and Fire Departments have a long and proud history of service to the people and businesses of our community. Volunteer Need: St. Michael Parish will be making cards for our local police officers and firefighters at St. Michael Serves thanking them for their dedicated service to our community.
Mercy Neighborhood Ministries: Inspired by the vision of the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Neighborhood Ministries promotes the empowerment of individuals with a special focus on disadvantaged women and seniors through proven programs that educate, foster self-sufficiency, and support enhanced quality of life. Volunteer Need: St. Michael Parish will be making Easter theme bags at St. Michael Serves for our friends at Mercy Neighborhood Ministries to let them know we are thinking about them this Holy Week.

Cans of Soup & Packets of Crackers
At Home Opportunities
The Sisters of Notre Dame: The Sisters of Notre Dame place a special emphasis on education, especially of poor women and children, and ministering where others may not choose to go. Volunteer Need: St. Michael Parishioners can package sweet treats to deliver to the Sisters of Notre Dame Care Center. St. Michael Serves needs 40 dozen homemade sweets (cookies, brownies, donuts, chocolates, etc.) to be delivered on the service day.
Hospice: Hospice provides a comprehensive care team to work with patients and their families on a personalized care plan to help support the quality of life and make the most of final moments together. Volunteer Need: St. Michael Parishioners can sew pillowcases, specifically for veterans entering Hospice care. Completed pillowcases can be delivered on the service day.
