"Young people, do not be afraid to be holy!" - Saint John Paul II In a world where our peers tell us to "fit in," God calls us to stand out. We are ALL called to be holy no matter what the world tells us. Youth group is the ideal place to join a community and make friends who will have your back as you begin (or continue) your journey in your Catholic Faith. Come hang out, have fun, and join us in building a faith-filled family! |

Katherine Walton I grew up going to youth group events in both middle school and high school. I had such a blast that I knew one day I wanted to lead a youth group of my own. I wanted to show others what God can (and does!) do for them by showing them what He's done for me. If you want to hear the story of how God answered my prayers and brought me here, I would be happy to share it with you sometime. I am SO excited to be here with you all! Here's some fun facts about myself. :)
I graduated from Thomas More University in 2021 with my degree in Theater Education and a minor in Theology. I love hanging out with my five younger siblings (3 sisters and 2 brothers), playing various instruments (guitar, ukulele, piano, harmonica, and the kalimba), dancing (ballet, tap, lyrical, and pointe); pulling (harmless) shenanigans on my siblings and friends, playing with my three chinchillas, wearing flannels, wearing Converse, collecting keychains, traveling to different states, trying new hairstyles, enjoying Skyline and Graeter’s, leading Praise and Worship, drinking Root Beer, and sliding down the slide that’s inside our house (it’s a great shortcut from the girls’ room to the basement!). |
